To the entire Adams family, David was a fine man. He had tremendous love for his family and his God. The very fact that he wanted to help find the link with the fibrosis is testimony to that. I KNOW where David is. He has already stepped in the presence of the Lord he loved. I wish I could be in Nashville now but with Uncle Bill having been so sick and still in the St. Catherine’s Labor Center I need to be here. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this very difficult time. I pray God’s presence, comfort, and peace be with you especially during this time and in the days ahead. Love Uncle Bill and Elaine

Mr. David was one of the kindest, gentlest, most caring person I have ever met. From the moment I met him, he invited me into the family with open arms and made me feel welcomed and loved. He helped raise three amazing children, one of whom I am fortunate enough to spend my days with. I know he will waiting for us all in Heaven, having a warm, welcoming hug for each of us. I plan on celebrating David Adams and carrying his memory with me in everything that Daniel and I accomplish in life. We’ll make him proud with our choices and joyful with our milestones. I am certain that he will remain with us, just in a different way. I look forward to seeing him again one day. May God look after and comfort the entire Adams family in this time of heartache. They have such a tremendous out poor of love and support from their family at their church, as well as friends.
    All my love,
    Chelsea

I knew David from working at St. Thomas for the last 19 years. He was a fine man, full of love for his family and a proud Grandpa. I was SHOCKED to hear of his death, as I am no longer working at the St. Thomas campus. The last time I saw him and his wife was at Logan’s in Nashville West and he was sharing pictures of his grandbaby with me. This must have been just days before his passing. David and I used to eat breakfast together in the cafeteria if we happened to be there at the same time. He will be TRULY MISSED. Blessings on his entire family.
