Age 78, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Eula Mae Meeks; brother, Johnny Meeks.
Barbara is survived by her children, James Randall (Carolyn) Tigue, Douglas Eugene (Patsy) Tigue, John Michael (Kathy) Tigue, Harold Edward (Yolanda) Tigue Jr., and Jeffery Lynn (Melisa) Tigue; grandchildren, Jody Madewell, Zachary Tyler Tigue, Kristina Tigue and Christian Tigue; 7 great grandchildren, her loving companion of many years, Larry Mullens; sister, Stella (Bob Garrison) Marsh; nieces, Vicki Marsh and Johni Meeks; nephew, Royce Marsh.
Barbara was a member of Highland Park Church in Nashville and held the highest honor with the WOTM, the College of Regents degree.
A visitation will be held in Nashville on Wednesday from 3PM until 8PM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte. Ms. Chambers will then be taken to High Funeral Home in McMinnville, TN for a visitation on Thursday from 3PM until 8PM, with a Celebration of Life on Friday 10AM, in the High Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dale Robble will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery in McMinnville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Moose Charities (155 S International Drive Mooseheart, IL 60539)

    Barbara was a sweet, kind, caring, woman that I’ve only known for a little over a year but had grown to appreciate a great deal. She had a ready smile and a kind word for me at all times. I had the great fortune to be able to taste some of her delicious baked goods. Barbara will be missed by a great number of people.

    Barbara was always there when I needed someone to talk to with a smile and a big glass of sweet tea. She and Larry were great neighbors to my Mom and Sonny.     Ms Barbara will be missed so much. I always enjoyed our talks and looked for her pretty face every Wednesday night! Barbara was so loving and caring to everyone. We have lost a dear friend but God has one of his angels in heaven now. I loved Ms Barbara so much as did everyone here at the Sycamore Golf course. We will all miss her very much!!
