Mrs. Billye Iris Thompson– Age 82, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Theola Freeman; siblings, Bettie, Jackie, Doris, and Chief. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Thompson; her children, Cheryl (Billy) Lewis, and Terry (Karen) Thompson; granddaughters, Tiffany, Tori, and Chelsea; 2 great grandchildren; her brothers, Robert Freeman and Jerry (Nancy) Freeman. The family would like to send a special thank you to Avalon Hospice and Dr. John Williams office. A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, November 27, 2015, at 10:00am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Reverend Alex Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Alzheimer’s Association. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 3pm until 7:00pm and on Friday one hour prior to the service at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike; online guestbook www.westharpethFH.com (615) 352-9400

    May you all find peace and comfort in the celebration of the life of such a special lady. I admire your devotion to her. Her love for her family was quite the inspiration.

    It is hard to not be able to see her face, but you know that God loved her and she needed to come home.The Family has done all the earthly things,that is where peace will come. Prayers for you Chryl, I remember you as a sweet,lovable little Scout.
