Carleen was always thinking of others and was a special person. Growing up we had many good times as cousins. We have laughed and cried and she will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

I am so very sorry for the loss to Carleen’s husband, children, grandchildren and parents. I met Carleen through her son, Tony, he and our Michael had been friends since early childhood. Carleen came to our home and gave my oldest grandson his first haircuts. I treasure those times, her sweetness and laughter, her chatter.
I won’t be able to visit the funeral home, but my heart will be with all who knew and loved her. You are all in my prayers.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Carleen’s whole family in her passing. She will always have a special place in my heart for her friendship to our family, and her kindness to my mom during my moms prolonged illness and passing. My mom never wanted her hair to be messed up. Carleen was so faithful to help us keep her looking her best.. You all will be in my prayers and thoughts. Please know she will be missed by many!

Gary & Tony: Carleen was a grand lady. She brought dedication and integrity to her job and was a pleasure to work with, and everyone around her was better for having known her.

    To Tony and Family,

So sorry for your loss. I was devastated to hear about Carleen’s passing.
I have lost a very dear and special friend in Carleen .there are not enough words to express the type of person that she was to me. I worked with her for 12 yrs. when she first was employed with Metro Gov. We became the best of friends, even after I retired our friendship continued. Carleen was a loving, always smiling, sweet and caring person. She loved her family dearly. I will miss her so much. Heaven just received a beautiful angel! Sorry we were not able to be there. We will keep you and your family in our prayers and thoughts.

I met Carleen through her job with the Fire Dept. As part of my job with the Sheriff’s Dept. I would visit Fire Logistics once a week.
She knew that I had written a sports column for 31 years for the Nashville Banner and Tennessean. She loved talking to me about the Titans. We had some good laughs during those discussions, especially after this past season at 2-14.
She has the best smile and came out with some funny lines. I could tell she loved life, her family and friends. My condolences to the family.
