David “DAMON” Bowker- Age 79, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grayden and Lily Bowker.
Damon is survived by his wife, Mary Bowker; children, David (Jessica) Bowker, Derrick Bowker, Joey (Carla) Fitzgerald, and Candy Fitzgerald Lopp; his grandchildren, Logan Bowker, Troy Bowker, Nora Fitzgerald, and Cory Lopp; sister, Coleen Bowker Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was a member of River Road Church of Christ, and life member of SCV Joseph E. Johnston Camp 28 and VFW Post 1970 West Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to River Road Church of Christ.
A Celebration of Damon’s life will be on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at 10AM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte. Interment with military honors will be at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9AM until the service time at 10AM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home.

Was a friend of Damon’s when I lived on White Bridge Rd and went to Martha Vaught. While we havn’t stayed in contact over the years we always related when we would see each other in years past. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Bowker has crossed over the river to rest under the shade of the trees with Stonewall Jackson and others.
