    Cora’s Family,

I am extreamly saddened by the news of Cora passing. I worked at the Christian Manor for 3 years and saw Cora most everyday. She was such a blessing to know and I understand the pain associated by her passing. She was a great “gal” and loads of fun to talk to. I will miss her trmendously.

I am sorry for your loss. She looks just like I remember her looking in the photo, except for the white hair. I wish I was able to come, but know that I will be there in spirit. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Cora was the first cousin of my mother, Ruby Barnard Link, Fount’s daughter. I remember well what fun she was when she visited us, often for extended periods of time. That deep throaty laugh of hers I’ll never forget. She always had time for little girls. I regret that over the years we lost touch, yet were not that many miles apart.
It is ironic that just two weeks ago while visiting my son in California who is researching our genealogy I told him about Cora and that I would call her when I got home. Alas, my good intentions were much too late.
God Speed, Cora. My prayers are with your family.
