Dorothy Jean Hardison, 87, passed away on November 9, 2016.  She is preceded in death by Lawrence E. Fuller, and was a loving and sweet sister of five brothers, two of whom have preceded her in death, Larry G. Vaughan and J.B. Vaughn.  She is survived by her husband, Thurman Hardison; brothers, Gary D. (Barbara) Vaughan, Wayne W. Vaughan, Paul R. Vaughan; sister in law, Georgia Vaughn, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  A Celebration of Life will be held at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Monday, November 14, at 12:00 PM with visitation from 10:00 AM – 12:00PM, and visitation on Sunday from 1:00pm until 6:00pm. Interment to follow at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.

    I will miss Aunt Jean so much…. she was a sweet, kind and thoughtful lady!

    Her sweet presence will surely be missed by those who knew her.

    Haven’t seen her in many years. Attended church with her in Nashville in my younger years. Haven’t had the opportunity to visit her or my uncle in a few years due to health. Wish the family well during these times and many God comfort them all.

    Dear Jim & family,
    It was a shock to me that Jean, passed away. Jim & I would have loved to travel to go to the funeral, we are so sorry for your loss. May you find strength in the Lord to carry you through your loss. We miss you deeply, and thank you for your great friendship. We love & miss you very much.
