Essie Mae Long- Age 95, passed from this life on March 19, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Dorris Long.
Survived by her son, James A. (Alice) Long; step grandson, Jonathan (Kari) Andrews; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mrs. Long was a member of the Scottsboro Church of Christ.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 10:00am, at Scottsboro Church of Christ (5156 Ashland City Hwy) with John Temple officiating. Interment will follow at Doughten- Long -Pickard Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home. There will be no visitation prior to the service at the church on Friday.
