Flossie Rae Temple- Age 88 years, entered the arms of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 3, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Scott Temple.
Survived by her husband of over 71 years, Herschel โCoachโ Temple; her four children, Debbie Potter, Steve (Gracie) Temple, Terry (Rhonda) Temple, and Roger (Kathy) Temple; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
She was a longtime member of the Scottsboro Baptist Church and loved singing Gospel hymns.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at 11:30AM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte with E.V. Robertson and Jack Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Joelton Hills Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Joey Martin, Michael Temple, Tony Temple, Tyler Temple, and Keith Temple. Honorary Pallbearer will be Chris Temple.
Visitation with the Temple family will be on Wednesday from 3PM until 8PM, and on Thursday from 10:30AM until the service time at 11:30AM, both at West Harpeth Funeral Home.

Iโm so sorry to hear the passing of Flossie,, she was so kind and sweet and welcomed me in church when my husband I went we always sat on the side of each other, she was so pleasant to know.and funny,. She will be missed but sheโs in the arms of the Lord.๐๐ป๐

Flossie was a true friend one who truly knew how to show Jesus love to others always serving being the hands and feet of JESUS

Some of my best memories growing up were with the Temple family. My mother and Flossie were friends for over 60 years. I am so sorry to hear of Flossie’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the Temple family.
