GARRISON, J.T. Age 77, August 17, 2008. He was a loving husband and father. He was a super papaw. He was a dedicated business man and a hard working gentlemen. A member and past president of Nashville Downtown Optimist Club, Boy Scout leader of Troop 28, member of Middle Tennessee Industrial Distributors Association, Founder of Garrison Service Company and Economy Lift Power, Inc., and a U.S. Army Veteran. Preceded in death by parents, William Clinton and Berneice Taylor Garrison. Survived by wife, Judy Hale-Garrison; children, Michael Annette Garrison, Linda Charles Stubblefield, Trish Garrison, Keith Tianna Hale, Kevin Hale, and Thom Ceile Garrison; 23 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd, Bob, Harold, Jim, and Ted Garrison; sisters, Martha Williamson, Leuty Johnson, Judy Hindman, Mary Lawrence, Aileen Terry, and Bertha Tipps. The funeral service will be at 4 pm on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will be on Friday, 2 pm at Smith-Wilkey Cemetery, Dayton, TN.
