My youngest daughter Kynsley adored Gary, simply put. She and Gary had an ongoing thing of Gary yelling her name from his porch and her yelling and waving back! One of her all time favorite things to do when we go out on the porch! My husband I will miss Gary’s great sense of humor! Gary and Jacob had a lot of good talks, and my husband always greatly respected everything he had to say! I’m truly sorry for your loss, Sherry, Kim, Casey, and family! He was a good man!!

Gary was on the fire department with my husband Wayne, was always a fun loving guy. There were several years several of the guys would take a trip to Wyoming over Labor Day weekend to hunt. Gary was always the first to say he was going. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family.

I saw the obit in the Tennessean, but did not recognize the name. I always note when Kingston Springs or Pegram residents are listed. I’m sorry I didn’t know him. I do know relatives, cousins who are great people and say he will be missed, so I know I missed out not knowing him. To his family and loved ones, I am sorry for your loss…

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Bennett and Smith families on the loss of Gary. I grew up with Ronnie, Lonnie and Gary, they were like brothers to me and we spent alot of time together. Gary always had a big smile and could be mischievous. He will be sadly missed by me and my family. Those good memories will follow him even in our loss.
    Prayers are with his family.
