I have very fond memories of Harvey at St john’s United Methodist Church where he and Mary Lou sat behind my pew for many years. He and I sometimes raced to see who could have the first ripe tomato. He usually beat me, but one year I spent an outrageous amount to buy one tomato plant that already had green tomatoes on it. That year I won, although we both knew that I had cheated. Harvey just laughed.
He and Russ became good friends and always sat at the men’s table with Joe Farrer, Buck Raby and Jack Kerns at our Wonderful Wednesday meals. They had such a good time sharing “tall tales”. Of that group, only Joe remains on this earth, but I feel sure all of them are still enjoying each others company and telling their tales in heaven. RIP friend Harvey!

I am very thankful for having known Harvey and Mary Lou and called them friends. They were both so kind and caring and anyone whose lives were touched by them are richer for the experience. They were so proud of the children, the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren. I know all of you are sad but let your hearts be comforted by knowing you were so well loved.
