I have known Marion and Marie since 1965. Two of the most patient and kind people I have ever known. They lived and practiced their Christianity daily while working in their coffee shop at General Hospital. Customers were always trying to deceive them because of their blindness. Never saw them treat anyone with disrespect.
Marie I have no doubt is with the Lord looking at baby Patrick. Rest In Peace Marie. My prayers of comfort and peace for Marion, Amy and family.

Marie was one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever known. I cannot remember her ever saying an unkind word about anyone. She loved her family dearly.

  9. Sammy Woodard says:

A beautiful and precious lady has passed on to her great reward. If one could choose one word that would describe things like strength, caring, loving, concern, dedicated and precious, that word could easily be MARIE. She was all of that and more. Because of here limited vision, in her later years, Marie could not use the computer so I had the honor of placing orders for her on Amazon. I live in Oklahoma and she lived in Nashville so we did it all on the phone. It was always a joy just hearing her voice on the phone describing her needs with words that she had trouble pronouncing and joking about “spending too much of Marion’s money.” Christmas time was so special to her. So many times she would say, “I love buying gifts” and she truly did. Giving to others was a real joy for her. Her concern for others was was a trait that she carried to the very end of her life and was made evident when she was first hospitalized with Covid. Her only concern was, “I’ve got to get out of here so I can take care of Marion.

When Marion and I visited about her passing his comment was, “we’re not just burying a person, we’re burying gold.” He was so right in so many ways. Rest in peace my precious niece knowing you will always be remembered and loved by all of those whose lives you touched.

Never met Mrs.Marie in person, I would check into a amateur radio club net called the Bible net where Marie and her husband Marion participated greatly and I enjoy it very much.
I didn’t get to participate in this net as much as I would have liked which has several other ham operators Marie always done a great job in reading Bible verses and we all had comments and opinions and enjoy talking about the Bible. She was a great lady and a True Christian and will be missed by all.
