Helen was my Great Aunt. I would call her on the phone and enjoy hours of conversation with her. She sounded just like my Grandma (Ruby) who was also her sister. She would tell me stories of my Grandma and of my Mom ( Linda Patterson) who both are already deceased. I will miss Helen and the stories that she would tell. She is in Gods hands now and will dearly missed.

God Bless Aunt Helen and may she continue laughing in Heaven with her brothers and sisters, her son and husband. When Aunt Helen, Aunt Ruby, Aunt Mary and my grandma were all in the same room, they were much louder than any of the kids in the front room. Their laughter was always contagious.

George and Angela, may you and your family find comfort and my condolences to you all.

    Eunice’s granddaughter and Carol’s daughter.
    Laura

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. McMurtry through Alive Hospice. My visits were always enjoyable. We would laugh and talk about all kinds of things. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. I will always remember her.

Kathy and George so sorry for your loss..Aunt Helen was one of a kind for sure.A great sense of humor and loved to hear her laugh. For whatever reason she always wanted me to call her “Auntie” Helen,so I did.I am her brother Will”s grandson and remember when they used to come to my grandparents when I was a child and am thankful to really get to know Auntie Helen as I got older. She was a great, loving lady and will be missed by all.She also referred to me as her young boyfriend, lol…LOVED IT!…I will miss you Auntie Helen and FOREVER “39” you shall be.Rest In Peace.

    Love,
    Kenny
