Dennis was such an overwhelmingly positive force in the lives of so many friends and colleagues throughout the years. TDOC has certainly lost a great deal with his passing, but his influence will live on in the form of those he taught and mentored. Rest in peace my friend.

The loss of Dennis touches so many. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he took his job seriously and performed it professionally and ably. His twinkly eyes, teasing words, and straight talk often kept his colleagues on their toes and willing to go the extra mile. A great loss for all who knew him.

Dennis was a good friend and a kind soul; I am grateful for those many years of friendship. I’m going to miss him–his stories, his jokes, the way he liked to tease me (always in good fun), the look of love and pride he had on his face when he talked about his grandkids and family.

To his family, I offer my sympathy and my prayers that you find comfort in the good memories.

I just found out about Dennis’ passing. He was a good friend. We started our professional careers together at Metro Parks at Two Rivers Golf Course back in 1971.
Dennis was a great guy. He was always positive and enjoyed having fun on the job. We learned a lot together.
I will miss seeing him occasionally in downtown Nashville at lunch hour. May he rest in peace.
