    I worked with Ms
Jackie for all those 30 years at Kroger. Everyone loved her, she was the sweetest and most generous person I knew. She loved her kids so much on her bus route, and all her co-workers. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace sweet lady!

Truly one of the sweetest people I have ever known. While I know her family is at peace, the rest of us grieve for having lost such a sparkle of life.

I am a 33 y/o black man, born in NC and moved to TN when I was 4. Met Ms. Jackie on my first day of school. Troublemaker, boisterous, stubborn were just a few of the adjectives you could use to describe me. Ms. Jackie saw the best in me though. She would get on to me for getting into trouble at school and give me encouragement to work hard to succeed always. She remembered my birthday, my sisters birthday, my mom’s birthday, list goes on, and would bring me treats as presents. I used to forgo sitting with my friends on the bus and sit in the seat behind her, while she drove, just so we could talk. Long story short, I will become a physician this year. Sometimes I wonder how things would’ve ended up for me had I not had people like Ms. Jackie in my life. She was truly the sweetest most beautiful soul and I’m grateful and honored to have known her.
    -Rest in peace Ms. Jackie
