I am sad that I have lost a cousin who I loved. Our families had so much fun at our Aunt’s farm in Watertown. Ray loved playing jokes on me and my sisters. He was the big brother I never had. Sue you were a blessing from God and as I have told Ray for years you were the best thing that ever happened to him. Ray was happy because of you. I will continue to pray for you and the entire family. May God give you strength.

    Shanelle,

My heart goes out to you in the loss of your father. I understand how difficult the loss of “daddy” can be, but I am thankful to God that He has brought me to a place of being thankful for the time I had with my daddy. In time, I pray the same will occur with you. I will keep you in my prayers as you begin to live your life without the physical presence of your dad.

I was shocked and very sad to find out that ” Stingray ” had passed away. He was a pleasure to be around and was also a outstanding member of the Nashville Fire Dept. His former coworker will miss him greatly, but we can look back smiling , thinking about the good times we shared with him during his 30 year on the department. My heart goes out to his family for their lost.

I love you Jimmie and miss you.You were the best thing that could have ever happened to me.My life changed instantly for the best when I first saw you and the worse the last time I saw you but I know that God has a higher plan for you. When you left me,you took all of me with you,my heart,,my soul and all my love but .what you left me was all the memories and there are millions.i know you are now playing pranks on God’s angels and we know no one can pull a prank off better than you.It is time for you to go rest on that mountain, your work here is done. Thanks for all the times we laughed and cried together but most of all thanks for picking me to marry and given me the best 10 years of my life. You were an awesome husband,a great dad,and a grandfather that can never be matched.Forever loved and forever missed.

Jimmi and I have been good (East Nashville) friends for a long time and we had a close friendship for the past 9 years, We unknowingly moved into the same neighborhood and were almost next door neighbors. Ill sure miss our BS sessions in the street. He was a good listener and a good friend. I know everyone in the neighborhood will miss him, he never met a stranger.
    Later On Jimmi.

Daddy, I am trying to get ready and it’s so hard! Me being your oldest child and daughter I know you want me to be strong for the strange for us all. I sit here thing about the talks we had on the way home after up picking me up from work. You always said “Be good and think before you do it.” Then as I got older our talks were what did I tell you time and time again. I gave you your first grandchild (grandson) and you were so proud. Then I moved away. But Daddy I never forgot you. You did teach me alot. Daddy I am going to miss you more now then ever. Is not us being hard headed with each other now. You always said “Don’t do something that you might regret later.” I always hate to learn the hard. Daddy I love you and will miss you so much. Your Loving Daughter. Rosanna

I enjoyed working in the same firehouse with Jimmie for two years. We were on the same shift for one of those years. Jimmie was a great person and mentor to a new firefighter (myself). I am out of town and am regrettably unable to make visitation. Everybody liked Jimmie. He called me when my son died. I will always remember him for that.

Jimmy, although I’ve known you for only a short time I am happy to have known you. We live in the same community but I felt like our cul de sac was a little community within a community. Seeing you walking with your best buddies (prince and napoleon) was a common sight in the neighborhood. Your corny jokes always brought a smile to my face. Our little community has lost a good friend. Peace buddy.
