Jimmy Mason, Sr. of Nashville, TN passed away at his home with family at his side on Monday February 8th, 2021. He was 78 years old.

Born on February 8th, 1943, Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. He is survived by his son Jimmy Mason, Jr. (Angela); daughter Margaret Williams (Mark); grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and 2 siblings.

Jimmy was an owner and operator of Mason Carpet Service for many years before retiring the business to his son. He enjoyed some fishing, boating, and gambling casinos. Jimmy was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren and his little nurse/great-granddaughter Peyton Maya.

A visitation for Jimmy Mason, Sr. will be held on Thursday February 11th from 12:00pm – 8:00pm and again on Friday February 12th beginning at 10:30am. Chapel services officiated by Robert Hamilton to follow at 11:30am, all at West Harpeth Funeral Home, Charlotte Pike, Nashville.

Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Hwy 100, Nashville, 1:00pm Friday February 12th.

    PAP( Mr. Mason) a man with a heart of GOLD. Always a kind word to say. You’re brightness lightened everyone’s heart. you came in contact with. You are and will always be, a wray of sunshine on a cloudy day. My heart aches for Lil. Jimmy and Scuddy (Sunshine) and their family. He was a wonderful man and will be truly missed.
