Joyce R. Sutton – Age 84, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles “Peanut” Sutton, who passed away in 2017.

She is survived by her son, Steven Wade (Pam) Sutton; grandchildren, Roxi (Seth) Sowers, Mandy (Nathan) Brawner, and Travis Sutton; 2 great grandchildren; her sister, Betty (Terry) Hutcherson.

A Celebration of Life service will be on Friday, December 11, 2020, at 1:30PM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be on Friday from 11:30AM until the service time at 1:30PM, both at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte.

    To the family of Miss Joyce Sutton,
    Sorry to hear of her passing, what a beautiful, caring and loving Southern Lady, always with a butterfly pinned on her shoulder. I will always remember her as being this way.
    I’m sure she is finally back with Peanut who she loved so dearly.

    I’m still shocked and numb . I’m so sorry Wade and Pam and family for your loss . I had a dream Saturday morning I’ll have to tell Wade about . Aunt Joyce told me in the dream to make sure you Wades package ?? When I got up I thought what made me dream that ?? I had never dreamed about Aunt Joyce or Wade . I love y’all so much and you will be in my Prayers . I will miss our calls Covid took our visits and shopping away . I know Uncle Charles was glad to see her . She was like a 2nd Mother to me . I’m Heartbroken .

    Ms. Joyce was a wonderful lady. She came to the Regions Bank at the Belle Forest location. All the employees loved and adored her. We loved on her when her husband passed away and always tried to help her. She loved going on trips with her extended family. She was a beautiful lady!!! We will miss her!!

    Although her nieces and nephews are scatted about the country, we mourn as those that are close. We will always remember the times that we spent with her and Uncle Charles.     I will never forget Mrs. Joyce had my time spent working with her at Performance. She was always so sweet to me and had her hair big & beautiful! I remember how much she loved Dolly Parton (something we both bonded over) & butterflies. I’ll always remember her fondly and she will be missed dearly. ❤️
