Laureate was one of my favorite first cousins.
She was very understanding and kind. Her visits
to my family were greatly appreciated as they
had to deal with health problems. She was very
uplifting to my younger brother, Ted, as he
struggled with Parkinson’s, and for this I will
always be very grateful. The world has lost a
    soul, I will miss her.
