To all of the loved ones of Irvin. Nancy and I offer our prayers for you. We are truly sorry that we have been unable to attend the last Lewis family gatherings. We know that we missed out on a lot. I Bill have some pleasant memories of Irvin and his sisters….last saw them in Hazlehurst about 1952 or 1953. My Mom and Dad Irvin A. Lewis’s brother & Buddy’s uncle were in the South for a vacation. Irvin was, as I remember a soda jerk in the drugstore and had to work, so having just received my driver license I took the two girls to the movies….you could get your driver license in New Mexico at 14 at that time. Nancy and I are looking forward to seeing you folks on one of your next gatherings.

    With love,
