    Zana and family,
I was very sorry to hear of Pete’s death. He was a great guy and a delight to be around. I enjoyed the times that we had golfing. Even though it was not easy for him to get around the course, he always “toughed” it out.
I’m sorry I did not get to know Pete during his Firestone years. During my 35 years at Firestone, our path’s never crossed.
But, I always enjoyed his many, many stories about his time at Firestone. He should have written a book. It would have been a best seller.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you and the family.

Zana and Daughters, I am just devasted at our loss of Peter. I enjoyed his friendship since he came to Nashville around ’73, I believe. We played a million holes of golf and laughing all the way. What a joy he was to be around. I suffered with him these last few years as he was limited in what he could do. I’m glad he was determined to continue to “ride” the courses with us. I regret that I have a firm committment in Memphis on Monday. Not paying my respects to him, as he deserved, is an awful burden on me. I hope that I get to see you before or after the services. If I can do ANYTHING for you now or at anytime later, please allow me to help. I will miss my friend….Mack E. Easley Smyrna TN

    Dear Zana and family,
I worked with Pete back in the 70’s at the plant in LaVergne. He was always so much fun to be around. We spent much time talking about life in the frozen north I’m from Iowa. I am truly saddened at his death as I know you are, but I know that God will give you comfort. Please accept my condolences.

Grandpa Peter was taken too soon for us. We looked forward to seeing him and Zana every summer in Ely. No matter what else was going on we alway’s made sure we made it up to Ely for their visit. He was a kind, generous, and thoughtful man. We will miss him alot and know that god found his next angel in Peter. Love you Grandpa. Ryan, Linda, Josie and Jayden

It’s been a few weeks, but the loss lingers. So many photos around the house that remind me of times past. Just rest in peace dad and enjoy watching the family from a higher place. Know how much you’ll be missed by all. I will forever miss your hugs and that’s one of the toughest things to get through. I love you Dad….
