Melinda Taylor Sanders – Age 76, of Nashville, TN, died on April 18, 2019, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville.
Melinda was born on May 31, 1942, in Dickson, TN. She was a daughter to Raymond Rosco Taylor and Lillie Mae Potts Taylor. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lillie Mae; brother, Raymond Buford; sister, Joann Primm; nephew, Neil Taylor.
She graduated from William James High School. She was a retired employee of NES, with 36 years of service. She was a loving wife, aunt and life long Christian. She had been married to her soul mate for 58 years. She loved to exercise, travel, and spend time at the beach. She was a member of Western Hills Church of Christ.
She is survived by loving husband, Robert Sanders; siblings, Ralph (Janie) Taylor, Gilbert (Ruth Ann) Taylor, and Mark (Teresa) Taylor; brother in law, John Primm, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephew.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 11:00am, at Western Hills Church of Christ with David Estes and Daryl Demonbreun officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery in White Bluff, TN. Pallbearers will be Chance Taylor, Vance Primm, Daniel Burns, David Burns, Jonathan Taylor, Kyle Taylor and Cody McNeal.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday, April 18, 2019, from 4PM-8PM, in the Celebration Hall of West Harpeth Funeral Home, and a brief visitation Saturday from 10am until the service time at 11am at the Western Hills Church.
