Melissa Ann Moore, age 54, died peacefully on December 6, 2020 in Nashville, TN after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Mrs. Moore is by preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Moore; sister, Deborah Craft; and parents, Opal and Roy Willis Craft.
She is survived by her loving son, Willis (Rachel) Craft; significant other, Lee Qualls; brothers, Roy Craft and Donald (Terri) Craft, Jr.; nieces, Erica Willis, Kayla MacDonald, and Brandy Workman; nephews, Bradley Shrader, Zak Santoni, and Michael Craft; many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews, including Lexi Willis.

Melissa was born in Nashville and attended Cohn High School. She was married to Tommy Moore for over 20 years until his death in 2010. She retired from Metro Public Schools in 2018 where she was a dedicated school bus driver.
She loved traveling to the Great Smoky Mountains whenever possible and had a passion for purses, candles, animals, and making others smile. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Hubert Cunningham officiating.

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at West Harpeth Funeral Home.

    This lady right was one of the main backbones to not just her immediate family ,but to everyone she had ever came in contact with. I know this because she was my sister- in – law. My heart and prayers go out to the rest of her family,and mostly to her son Willis Craft aka G- MAN!! SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY US ALL!!

    She will be missed by so many. One of my favorite memories with her, was when her, and Uncle Tommy, and Willis went with Boggie and I to Gatlinburg to get married! LOL. We had so much fun that weekend. She was such a sweet, kind, caring, and loving woman. Always, always had that infectious smile on face no matter what. We love Aunt Melissa. Till we see you agian.

    I worked with Melissa at Metro and she was always one of the funniest people I have ever known. We always had fun on half days eating somewhere…I’m praying for the family. She will be missed!!!

My prayers were for your complete healing preferably here on earth because we never want to let go but our heavenly Father was ready for you to return to His arms and no one can blame Him for that. Opal, Debbie and Donald and Melissa we’re family..My mom Loved visiting this family growing up.. There is NEVER a HARSH word that came outta ur mouth about no one always always had something beautiful to say about someone and praised the grounds that ur family and friends walked on will always remember all the smiles and good times that we shared together with Vicki we were so close at one point til directions separated us physically but not emotionally ….
