Tremendous love and grace of God presented so clearly in Billy Roy’s life. He loved God with all his heart and showed that love to all of us. Bro Moore was such a wonderful blessing to me, as he was to so many others. I haven’t seen him in years, but feel the loss of him all the same. I know he is rejoicing in Heaven amd singing praises to the Lord face-to-face. What a joy for him to be welcomed into Heaven’s gates and Jesus’ arms. Praise God for the light and witness he was, as well as the legacy he leaves with us. We will see him again in Glory! Much love to Pixie and the rest of the family.

Dearest Pixie…When I first moved to Nashville from Indiana back in the 80’s my pastor told me I needed to attend Bro. Billy Roy Moore’s church…The Lord’s Chapel. I did just that! We loved him and your family so very much. Thanks for serving so many with so much and touching lives for the kingdom. Bro. Moore did great at Hoy Allen’s Funeral last month and I count it a pleasure having seen him one more time before Jesus called him to join Hoy in GLORY! We will be praying for you and your family. Love you, Kathy & Richard Pearson

  18. Dana Sigmon says:

Brother Moore was a VERY SPECIAL “Instrument” in the hands of the LORD. He was so “down to earth” and yet one of the most deeply Spiritual Men of God I’ve ever known. In fact, the Lord used Billy Roy to “anoint and send us out” to spread the Gospel as “SONGWRITERS Ministry” Glenn Ashworth, Jacky Watts and I way back in 1980. I believe God used his evangelistic gifting to help us win the many tens of thousands of souls we’ve seen saved over the years. We will miss you deeply Brother Moore… but as you used to say “only for a little while”!
Abundant blessings to Pixie and all the Family and friends whom I know will miss him as will we.
“We’ll meet you in the morning just inside that Eastern Gate… over there”
