    Gloria and Gerald,
I can’t express how wonderful Miss Josie was to our family. She came into our lives almost 19 years ago when we first took Laurel to Arlington CDC. She was a joy to see every morning and afternoon when we would take the Laurel and Andrea in for her loving care! She helped get Andrea on a sleeping schedule that helped us more than anyone knows.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and always full of fun. Her memory will be a constant reminder of how wonderful she was and how she loved what she did. She will be missed by all who knew here. God bless you and your family during this difficult time.
    Love,
Bobby, Regina, Laurel and Andrea Medlen

We will surely miss Mama for her being a loving and caring mother and grandmother! Even if she was a single parent, she sacrificed a lot and really made sure that all her children were properly taken cared of and given the proper education. Her legacy will forever live in our hearts! Thank you Mama for your unwavering love and support to all of us. I’m confident that you are now in God’s loving care….till we meet again! Fare Thee Well
Josie’s ‎natural gift to connect with other people has been ‎apparent throughout her life. I remember a time during a ‎family journey where the stewards of a big ship took care of us ‎attentively because of the relationship my mother has built in a ‎short amount of time. I observed how my mother talked to ‎them kindly and taking interests in their personal lives.
My mother provided her children a comforting ‎home. She protected and nurtured us in the best manner that ‎she was able.
Josie is well-liked ‎and well-loved. She always has the smile to offer and talks to ‎you in a caring style. Josie will be missed in many, many ways.
I hope, we, her ‎children, have told her enough that we love her dearly.
Mother, rest in peace. You do not have to worry about ‎us anymore. You taught us well. This is your time to take ‎shelter in the loving arms of God. ‎
“To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.” – Thomas Campbell, a Scottish Poet

In behalf of my father Apollo Caneda and sisters Myra Marie, Christine Joy and Aira Mae Caneda, we extend our condolences regarding the death of our great grandmother Josefa Rosales. Though we’re so far to be with her for her last hours of life, we would like to tell her that we’ll always love her and treasure her. Lola, we love you so much.

We’d like to come to the funeral, but that would not be possible for now. Our thoughts and prayers are specially with the whole family this time.

    With our deepest sympathies,
