Farewell old pal. It’s been a great trip over the last 45+ years. We saw and did a lot in those years, through the good times and bad times. I will always remember you.As Allison said, when I told her about your passing ” At least Bob and Heather, will now be drinking a nice hot cup of tea together “

  2. Terry and Margaret Widlake says:

We will miss you, Bob. Great memories of you at the Sherlock Holmes pub, and presiding over “Descendants of the British Empire” DOBE. We will miss your good humour and the stories you tell about driving Peter Sellers around. Goon, but not forgotten.

  3. Frank Wilkins says:

Bob was a good friend and a great character who lived life to the full.
We had so many good times when we worked together in the UK and Bob’s great sense of humour will always be remembered.
I was fortunate enough to be able to speak to Bob on the phone about a year ago and despite not being in the best of health he still made me laugh. He will be missed.
My condolences to all his family on this sad occasion.
