My condolences to the family. You will be missed Steve, you made the world a better place.
Steve was first a colleague, then my manager and ultimately a good friend. He is one of the smartest men I ever met and seemed to always have the answers. Whether we were discussing the Mandela effect, flat earth theory or how to fix a server….he seemed to know it all. He could take the most complex problem and make it black and white. His love for his wife, Susan, and daughters, Sarah and Catie, was unparalleled. He shared so many stories and the pride toward them was always shining through. I will miss my friend dearly but know he left the world in better shape than he found it.
Steve was a good guy. Funny and always like to cut up. He hired me at VUMC and for that I will always be grateful. But also grateful to have known him. Probably one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. Very sad and I hate that his family is going through this. He was still a young man and had a lot of life left. Very sad.
My prayers go out to Steve family. Steve was a great man and full of fun as well as a great worker. You will be missed.
Our son-in-law was a sensitive, intelligent and generous man. He loved and cared for his family and will be missed. Thanks for all you did Steve.
Rest in peace!
So very sad about the sudden lost of Steve. Our thoughts and prayers to Susan, Sarah and Catie. Much love Aunt Carol
So very sorry for this devastating loss. Susan, Sarah, and Catie you are in my prayers.
The short time I knew Steve at Cardiovascular Care Group, led me to appreciate a thoughtful, caring, sensitive and intelligent man, family man, and friend. Steve and I tended to arrive at work early and got to talk about subjects ranging from his father, his politics, his love of music/movies/books/philosophy and information technology. Steve and I were as close as I had ever gotten to anyone outside of my wife and son, and for that I am deeply grateful. God go with you, my friend.

This is incredibly sad news, Steve was a great man that will be sorely missed. I’m hopeful for peace for all the family and friends he left behind.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Steve’s Wife and Daughters, though I never met you, I certainly felt like I know you. I had the pleasure of working with Steve for several years and agree with David Beck, Steve seemed to know to know it all, was fair and also a great teacher. He was cool, calm and collected in a tense situation and always a part of the solution through teaching and asking the right questions. We’ll all miss you Mr.Timmons and thank you for the great memories and for the things you taught me personally.
My deepest sympathies are with you and Steves family at this time. Steve was a great co-worker that I enjoyed working with for the short time we were both at CCG. He was incredibly smarty, kind, and dedicated and will be missed by many.
Steve, I still can’t believe you are gone. I love your kindness and gentleness and sense of humor. Nobody can smoke a turkey like you! Your absence is a great loss but I am grateful for the time I shared with you. I know your spirit will be watching over Susan, Sarah and Catie. Peace and love to you, dear brother-in-law. 💖💖💖
