  1. Rev. Daniel & Jennifer Snow says:

It has been a little more than 20 years since I last saw my Cousin Mark. And before that, It had been so long that I had trouble remembering him without being introduced again. All of my life, the distance between our homes always made it very hard to see a lot of my family as often as one might hope for.

The last time I saw Mark was at his home in Marshall, Illinois. He, and his wife Angie, and their boys welcomed my family and I into their home for those few days, and Mark talked to me as if it had only been a day or two since he’d last seen me. He and his family made me feel at home, and welcome, just like family, and I never forgot that.

I wish I could have gotten to know Mark, and all of the rest of my family (way down where they talk funny) much better than distance and time allowed. I will remember him as a kind, and honest man, and we will miss him.

  2. Steve Oglesby says:

As Mark’s little brother, I grew up always chasing after Mark’s accomplishments. He seemed to always have success with whatever he took on. I have always looked up to him, and thank him for being a great role model for me. He was a family man that loved and took care of his family. He was kind and funny and also very quiet. Over our adult years we grew apart….living in different parts of the country. We just recently talked about him coming out west to visit. it would have been nice for him to meet my family. I am sad to lose Mark. He meant a lot to me.
