Barbara Thomas Earle was born in Nashville Tennessee on October 23rd 1936 and passed away there on October 29th 2023. As a child she lived in Memphis and Big Stone Gap Tennessee before settling with her Family in Jacksonville Texas where she met her Husband and graduated from High School.  She was married to the love of her life, Jack D. Earle for 53 years and lived in many locations with his career raising her 5 children primarily in San Antonio and Houston Texas.

When her last child at home started Middle School, she began her career as an Apartment Complex Bookkeeper and for the next 20 years grew her career as a Real Estate Property Manager.

She and Jack retired in Nashville Tennessee to be near the majority of her children.

She was an avid reader and imparted her love for poetry and verse to her children, and taught them to read before they started school. She loved musicals, old movies, mysteries, and all kinds of Music. She  worked the New York Times cross word puzzle each day and could not be beat at Scrabble. She was a talented knitter and loved to crochet as well. She encouraged her children to be creative and explore music and art.  

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jack D. Earle, her mother Helen Grace Collins Fain, her stepfathers Emmet Thomas and Samuel Fain, her brother Samuel Nicholas (Nick) Fain Jr. and her Grandson Justin Earle.

She is survived by her children Steven (Steve) Earle, Mark Earle and his wife Kathleen, Kelly Meers and her husband Ron, Stacey Earle Stuart and her husband Mark, Patrick Earle and his wife Rita, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other children that came through her life.

A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 3 PM on Friday, November 3rd at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, 3331 Bell St. Ashland City Tennessee.

A Memorial Service and Interment will be celebrated at 11 AM, Saturday, November 18,2023 at Earle’s Chapel Methodist Church, d499 CR 3221, Jacksonville, Texas.
