Betty Merryman

Betty Capps Merryman, age 74, of Nashville, TN passed away on March 30, 2019 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Nashville. She was born on August 31, 1944 to the late Andrew and Lorie Capps.
Betty is survived by her sons, Jay Merryman(Tammy) and Joey Merryman; grandsons, Tyler Merryman and Austin Merryman(Shalena); granddaughter, Chelsie Brooke; and great granddaughter, Ella Marie Faye Merryman. She is also survived by her sister, Erma Lee Miller(John); brother Herman Capps(Chris); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her brothers, Earl Capps, James "Pee Wee" Capps, and Ray Capps.
Betty was employed by the State of Tennessee for 35 years. She loved animals and had a passion for yard work and gardening. Her kind heartedness meant she was a friend to anyone and the kind of friend anyone would be lucky to have. To her family, she was a Godly and loving mother and grandmother. Betty was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in west Nashville.
Betty's wishes were that no services be held.
