"Papa" Billy Cannon, 72, of Ashland City passed away on December 12, 2015. He was born on February 6, 1943 in Hickman County, TN. He was retired for ten years. He enjoyed life to the best of his ability. He enjoyed family time and was married for twenty four years to his loving wife, Debra. He took pride in his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Billy is preceded in death by his father, Billy Dee Cannon; mother, Annie Mai Forrester; son, Billy Ray Cannon, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Cannon; daughters, Debbie (Rhett) Butler, Lynda (Jimbo) Gardner, Jacqueline (Curtis) Ching, Millie Blaylock; brother, Tommy (Betsy) Plunkett; grandchildren, Justin , Devon, Mikale, Kailah, Alexa, Kobe, Ben, and Jake, and great grandchildren.
The Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 pm on December 16, 2015, at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Visitation be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, and on Wednesday 10:00am until the service hour.
