Bob Smallmon
February 18, 1925 — June 6, 2016
Bob Smallmon- Age 91, passed away June 6, 2016. He is survived by wife of 56 years, Zane Earheart Smallmon; daughters, Jennifer (Steven) Orr and Ethel (Mark) Ford; grandchildren, Shannan Orr, Patrick Orr, Collin Orr, Ryan Orr, Liam Orr, and Kassidy Orr; great grandchildren, Kingston and Kyson; his faithful companion, Sassy.
Bob was an Army Medic and landed in Normandy on June 6, 1944. He was awarded The Bronze Star for his heroic actions.
There will be a private graveside service held at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike; online guestbook www.westharpethFH.com (615) 352-9400.
