Brownie Cummins Hill, 85 of Kingston Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. She was born in Enterprise, TN, on March 21, 1940, to the late Brown and Ruthie Kennedy Cummins. Brownie was a nurse for over 28 years. She worked at hospitals including Maury County Regional Hospital, St. Thomas Hospital, and retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital after 20 years of dedicated service. Brownie was an avid reader, loved socializing with friends and family, and enjoyed traveling. She enjoyed cheering for the Atlanta Braves, Golden State Warriors, and all things Tennessee Vols.

In addition to her parents, Brownie was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Terry Lee Hill; grandson, Joshua Hardin Hill; and siblings, Sue Moore, Charles Cummins, and G. W. Cummins.

She is survived by her children, Kellye Attkisson (David) DePriest and Tim (Tina) Hill; grandchildren, Jessica DePriest, Morgan Hill, Rachel DePriest, and Peyton DePriest Smith; and a host of extended family members and beloved friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. A Memorial Service will begin on Tuesday at 2:00PM in the Chapel at West Harpeth.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the South Cheatham County Public Library at 358 N. Main Street, Kingston Springs, TN 37082.
