Charles Jackson

Charles Michael Jackson was born on December 1, 1952 to Mary Naomi and Thomas Willard Jackson as the 5th of 6 children. Charles was married to Marion in 1970, and they spent 12 years together during which they had Charles' eldest - Kristin - who currently resides in Westminster, MD. Charles married Janet in 1984. They celebrated 27 anniversaries and lived in Southern Maryland together. Their two daughters, Carmen and Rebecca, live in San Francisco, CA and Portland, OR, respectively. In 2014, Charles married Arlyn, and they lived happily together with Arlyn's daughter, Frannie, in Las Vegas, NV. Charles attended Middle Tennessee State University, where he obtained a B.A. in Political Science and Theater. He then received his J.D. from Vanderbilt School of Law in 1975. Charles worked for most of his career as an attorney for the Department of Labor in Washington D.C. After his retirement in 2010, Charles took some time to travel the world. He took a number of cruises, and detailed his travels in his "Retirement" blog. Some of the locales he visited include Canada, the South Pacific, and China as well as more "local" trips to U.S. National Parks and Hawaii. Charles was an avid reader, video game enthusiast, and movie-watcher, and he loved to share his experiences with media. Charles took great pride in his role as "Dad" and he was also a proud "Grandpa Charlie" to his grandchildren Trevor and Wilson. The aftereffects of his love and support will forever live in the hearts of his four daughters. Charles' ashes will be placed in his widow, Arlyn's, family tomb as well as spread in the Pacific Ocean. Paging and Bottom Toolbar
