Charles Tant, Jr.

Charles Edgar Tant, Jr. - Age 86, passed away November 14, 2016, at St. Thomas West Hospital. He retired from the Ford Glass Plant after 47 years of dedicated service.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Doris; his son, Doug Tant. Survived by his sons, Steve "Grumpy" (Sandra) Tant and David (Pame) Tant; grandchildren, Kelly (Warren) Wells, Troy (Julie) Tant, Jennifer (Tim) Ward, Amy Lavender, Emma Chaney and Charley Chaney; great grandchildren, Lanie (Cameron) Titus, Madi Wells, Braden Wells, Ellie Tant, Max Tant, Brennen Ward, June Ward, Chaney Lavender and Cade Lavender.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at 2:00pm, at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Chapel Hill West.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Crieve Hall Church of Christ, in memory of Charley Tant.
