Despite the heartbreak of losing her daughter Francesca Ferris in 1960 and her son Joseph D. Ferris in 2003, her spirit remained resilient. Her youngest son, Peter John Ferris, continues to cherish the memories of their time together.
Diana embraced motherhood and grandmotherhood with joy. Through her son Peter, she was blessed with two granddaughters, Kristyn Ferris and Larissa Ferris, who brought immense happiness into her life. In her spare time, Diana indulged her passions, which included a fascination with giraffes and elephants, as well as a love for collecting antiques. Her collection reflected her keen eye for beauty and history, showcasing a life well-lived and well-loved.
