Diane Thompson

Diane Thompson, 70 of Kingston Springs, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at her home. Diane was born on June 14, 1953, to the late Thomas and Nannie Polk Winn. She was of the Christian faith. Diane loved children and retired from Old Harding Pediatrics. She was a caring wife, attentive mother, and loyal friend. Diane enjoyed reading and cheering on her grandkids at their sporting events. She enjoyed trips to Tybee Island with her family as well. She and her husband faithfully attended breakfast club with their dear friends, but most of all, Diane enjoyed being surrounded by her family for dinner every Sunday night.

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her sister, Betty L. Winn; nephew, Dustin Keith; and sister-in-law, Ann Winn.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 48 years, Tony Thompson; daughter, Sonya (Charles) McNabb; grandchildren, Tyler McNabb and Emma McNabb; loving siblings, Richard Winn and Brenda (Kenny) Inman; nephew, Nick Winn; niece, Kristin (Al) Prado; and a host of extended family members and beloved friends.
