Dorothy Hunt

Dorothy ‘NaNa’ G. Hunt, Age 93, entered into the arms of God on Sunday, January 30, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lewis A. Burris and husband Arthur ‘Noonie’ T. Hunt, Jr., parents James and Lula Gregory, brother Bobby A. Gregory; grandson Dean Hunt and Vicky Baker.

She is survived by her daughter Janice Christopher (Keith); son Raleigh Hunt; son Roger Hunt (Patty). Her grandchildren are: Neil Christopher, Todd Christopher (Amber), Lori Andrews (Mike), Jennifer Hunter, Natalie Brown (Kevin) and Nathan Hunt. Her great grandchildren are: Bryce Christopher, Trace Christopher, Bryn Christopher, Bryce Salazar, Casyn Christopher, Kazmon McGuire, Indie Andrews, Devyn Hunter, Drake Hunter, Gage Hunt, Sophia Hunt, Mattie Brown, Brooks Brown, and Finn Brown.

NaNa’s life was marked with devotion to her family. She will be missed, but we all know she is looking down on us to ensure we have great lives for the future. Her life was filled with lots of love. She loved each one of us unconditionally. She loved to have the grandchildren visit and usually kept them for a two-week period in the summer when they were growing up. Her memories filled a lot of time of reflection during her life.

A Celebration of Her Life will be on Saturday, February 5, 2022 with visitation from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte Pike and Davidson Road. Interment will follow next to her husband at Woodlawn Memorial Park at 3:30 p.m.
