Dorothy Orman Sanders- Age 92, passed away January 22, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy worked with Sanders Furniture Company for many years. She also worked for the Election Commission for over 30 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Ed Sanders; 7 brothers, 2 sisters. Survived by children, Tommy (Judy) Sanders, Linda (Tommy) Swafford, Carolyn (Vic) Netherton, Jo Ann McDonald, and Bobby (Patricia) Sanders; 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Ruth) Orman; a host of extended family members. A celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 26, 2015, at 1pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Tommy Orman officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Joyce Nickens and the entire Gentiva Hospice Staff.
