Cowell, Edna M. Age 90, November 3, 2014, Commerce, GA. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Hubert H. "Buddy" Cowell, her parents, Gertie Walker Wilkerson and Ed Wilkerson, and her sisters Mary Austin Martin and Mildred B. Denny. Survived by sons Jim (Judy) Cowell, Littleton, CO; Ken Cowell, Punta Gorda FL, daughter Cindy (Roger) Dixon, Atlanta, GA; sister, Jean Stoker of Nashville; grandsons, Jeff Cowell and Jason Cowell, Littleton, CO; granddaughters Amy (Tyler) Smoot, Rincon, GA; Laura Dixon, Charlotte,N.C.; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cowell was a lifelong resident of Nashville, TN, before moving to Georgia in 2006. Mrs. Cowell also was a longtime member of West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Semper Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was retired from the Cashier Department of Parkview Hospital and was a talented seamstress. Visitation with the family will be Sunday November 9th from 2-5 P.M. at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 10th at 1 P.M. at West Harpeth Funeral Home, Rev. Rickey Page officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
