Edward King - Age 67, passed away November 2, 2018. He was a retired from the Metro Fire Department with over 39 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wordy and Alma King; sister, Connie Miller; brother, Danny King. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rhonda Thomas King; daughters, Gloria King Walters (Chris) and Amanda King Ford (Andy); grandchildren, Kateland Coble, Karlee Tracey (Steven), Alexia Ford and Abriel Ford; great grandchildren, Kingston, Jaxson, Kinlee, Lakelyn and Braxton; siblings, Linda, Ronnie, Ricky and Patty; and several extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 10:00am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Brother Dan Shapley officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 3:00pm-8:00pm, Tuesday 10:00am until 8:00pm, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
