Frederick C. "Rick" Franke - Age 68, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Janet Franke; step father, Richard Kersey; sister, Martha Leatherland. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years and 9 months, Rosemary Cook Franke; son, Jeff (Debbie) Cook; granddaughter, Kristin (Chris Richards) Elkins; great grandchildren, Jared, Hannah, and Callie, who knew him as "Buddy"; and two nieces. Rick was employed by Brookdale Assisted Living in Goodlettsville for over 7 years as a Dining Room Service Coordinator, and was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of the 5th floor of St. Thomas A Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 6:00pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will take place on Friday, September 25th at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
