James S. Clauer, Sr.
Age 64, of Nashville, passed away on July 22, 2016. He was born June 1st 1952 in Atlanta Georgia. He attended Sewanee Military Academy, Hillwood High School, and served in the United States Navy. James is preceded in death by his father, Robert R Clauer, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Marjorie S. Clauer; brother, Robert R. (Virginia) Clauer, Jr.; son, James S. Clauer, Jr.; daughter, MacKenna R. Slate; stepdaughter, Destry Suffridge; grandchildren, Chaplin S. Clauer, Navarre J. Clauer, McKinley R. Slate, and Mattie J. Slate. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 28 at 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home, a Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 pm at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
