Jim Stewart

James "Jim" Everette Stewart, age 83, of Nashville, TN passed away, February 28, 2024. Jim was preceded in death by both parents Fred and Mary Stewart, wife Joyce Stewart, and son Charles Stewart. He is survived by his sister Jeanne Stewart, daughters Mary Johnson and Camilla (Jerry) Sweatt, grandchildren Russell (Tabatha) Whitlow and Faye (Jason) Leonard, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Jim served as an engineer for U.S. defense electronics firms and worked on numerous defense contracts. More importantly, Jim was a member of the Charlotte Heights Church of Christ and had the privilege to teach Sunday school and bible study for 50+ years in 9 congregations and VBS director for 2 of those congregations.

Services will be held Saturday March 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the West Harpeth Funeral Home and Crematory: Chapel in Nashville, TN. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Services will be officiated by Bro. Darrell Blankenship, singing will be led by Bro. Jimmy Dillingham.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 3-8 P.M. and Saturday one hour prior to the service at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209 (615) 352-9400.
