James H. "Candy Man" Scott- Age 82, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Jeralene Scott. He is survived by wife of 31 years, Leota Brown Scott; children, Geannine (Edward) Fesler, Regina (Tim) Elkins, Thalia (Jody) Whittemore, Tina (Bobby) Prescott, Melinda Mathis, Melissa (Tony) Dawoud, Michelle Mathis, and Marla (Ike) Cleveland; 22 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, April 15, 2016, at 10:00am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Brother Bob Hammer officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, and on Friday from 9:00am until the service time at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike; 615-352-9400.
