James O. "Jimmy" Stewart - Age 81, passed away November 18, 2019 in Nashville, TN.

Survived by his loving wife, Jamie Stewart; nephew, Jason Wright (Janet), step-son, Jay Scott; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Jimmy had a great love for baseball and coaching. He served as commissioner of the Babe Ruth Baseball League and coached the Shoetiques winning many championships. He also earned the Mr. Baseball Award in 1994 from the Nashville Old Timers.

Mr. Stewart was a faithful and longtime member of Covenant Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2019 with Rev. Steve Guthrie officiating at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers include: Spike Hupka, Bob Hill, Jim McGowan, Bob McGowan, James Scruggs, Nathan Forrest, David Vincent.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
