Jean Corlew Gourley Churchill - age 89, passed away February 4, 2021 in Mount Juliet, TN. Born September 16, 1932 to W.A. & Mary Teresa Murphy Corlew in Nashville, TN.

Preceded in death by her parents and 1st husband of thirty-eight years, Paul Wayne Gourley, Sr.; brother, James Madison Corlew Sr. and two nephews.

Survived by sisters, Ann Corlew, Morgan Hill Calif; daughter Marilyn Gourley Kibby (Dicky) of Mt. Juliet; sons, Paul Wayne Gourley Jr. (Peggy) of Bon Aqua, TN; Brian Russel Gourley, MD (Diana) of Hendersonville; six grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; beloved friend Barbara Bates of Nashville, TN; 2nd husband, Robert D. Churchill; 2 stepchildren, and 6 step grandchildren.

Attended St. Bernard High School and Watkins Business School. Employed at Washington Manufacturing Co. as a tabulating supervisor and Hallmark Card Co as card display supervisor for Walmart and other major accounts. Owned Jean Gourley Pottery with her unique creations being sold at numerous craft festivals across the South. Loved dancing with the wheelrounders, camping and bowling.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at St. Ann Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick Kibby, Celebrant. Burial to follow at Lee Cemetery in White Bluff, TN. Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren to service as pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, 5101 Charlotte Ave, Nashville, TN, St. Jude Research Hospital, Memphis, TN or charity of your choice.
