Jeffrey Lee Tidwell

Jeffrey Lee Tidwell, age 53, of Nashville, TN passed away on February 22, 2024. He was a loving son, father, brother, and uncle who had a great sense of humor and was always kind to everyone. Jeffrey will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Jeffrey was known for his passion for spending time with his family and being a devoted friend to many. He cherished his relationships and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His infectious kindness and unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered.

Born on September 7, 1970, in Nashville, TN, Jeffrey had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He was a dedicated fan of the Tennessee Vols, Miami Dolphins since a young age, an avid supporter of the LA Lakers, and loved following NASCAR's Kyle Busch.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Booker; step-father, John Booker; children, Garrett Samuel Tidwell, AnnaGrace Ashlee Tidwell, and Leo Joseph Tidwell; sisters, Dorcas Crosthwait (George), Regina Gail Oliver (Mark Ray), Stephanie Booker Beard (Floyd); brother-in-law, Frankie Oliver; Shannon Clark Tidwell - the devoted mother of their children;  along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family acknowledges a special devoted uncle, Stanley Earl Jackson.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Joe Garrett Tidwell; aunt, Brenda Winters; grandmother, Nornia Victoria Willard (Granny); grandfather, John Andrew Jackson (Papaw); nephew, Dalton Beard, as well as cousin, Keith Thomas.

Services to honor and celebrate Jeffrey's life will be held at West Harpeth Funeral Home in Nashville. Visitation will take place on February 29th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on March 1st from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on March 1st at 1:00 PM followed by burial at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens at 2:30 PM.

Jeffrey's memory will live on through those whose lives he touched with his warmth and generosity. May he rest in peace knowing he was loved by many.
