Jesse James "Sonny" Stevens - Age 89, passed away October 4, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lorena McCord Stevens; his son, Wendell Stevens. Survived by children, Virginia Elise Stevens, Peggy Stevens, Timothy Stevens, and Paul Anthony Stevens; grandchildren, Brooke Stevens, Jake Stevens, Lainie Stevens, and Lissa Stevens; great grandchildren, Chase Jones, Cadence Jones, and Connor Jones, Aubree Steven and Madison Stevens; brother, Dennis Stevens; sister in law, Beulah Binkley.

Sonny was a member of the River Road Church of Christ and a retired Truck Driver. He enjoyed fishing and never met a stranger.

A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, October 7, 2016, at 10:00am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Brother Michael Binkley officiating. Interment will follow at Moss Cemetery in Hickman County.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
